Ayurveda is the oldest medical system in history. It originates from the ancient vedas of India and can be translated from two words. “Ayur” meaning life and “veda” meaning science, or sacred knowledge. It is the science of life and has been studied and built upon over thousands of years by observing nature, people and how we respond to our environments.
By understanding the basic principles of Ayurveda, we can learn how to create peace and harmony in our lives and with the world around us. When we incorporate this knowledge into our lives, it allows us to function at our fullest capacity.
This program is designed to help you learn the fundamentals and how to apply them to your life so you can create change that leads to health, longevity and vitality. Ayurveda is known as the sister science to yoga, so while yoga is the journey to enlightment, Ayurveda is the health system designed to help you get there.
